The covenant that the people did in Nehemiah 10 was a declaration of their faith and commitment to him while being accountable to one another. They declared faithfulness in how they would handle relationships, how they would do business and how they would support God’s work. All of the terms they have listed down are not new but were long ago commanded by God because He wanted them to be a people that identifies with Him alone. His chosen people.

When we relate this to our current lives, are we being identified as a person that shows Christ or are we conforming to the standards of the world.

  1. Are we conforming/compromising in our relationships?
  2. Are we conforming/compromising in how we do business?
  3. Are we conforming/compromising in how we perform in work?
  4. Are we conforming/compromising in our ministry?

Galatians 2:20. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Let Christ be seen!
